Mi Mix 3 5G version with Snapdragon 855 showcased in China


Xiaomi showcased its 5G variant of Mi Mix 3 smartphone at an event in China. Mi Mix 3 was launched in the country in October, though its 5G variant is expected to be commercially available early next year. Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 5G model is powered by the Snapdragon 855 processor, which is 5G-ready, while the non-5G variant has Snapdragon 845. Xiaomi demonstrated web surfing as well as live video streaming on 5G network on Mi Mix 3.
Qualcomm officially unveiled its flagship Snapdragon 855 earlier this month. The processor is a 7nm design chipset, which is the same fabrication process as the Apple 12 Bionic chipset and Huawei’s Kirin 980 processor. It will have 5G support thanks to the Snapdragon X50 modem, which can support a maximum download speed of up to 2Gbps.

Redmi note 7 launched.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 launched Xiaomi has finally launched the Redmi Note 7 under its new 'Redmi by Xiaomi' sub-brand. The smartphone sports a waterdrop-shaped notch, dual rear camera setup, a 48-megapixel sensor at the back, a rear fingerprint sensor, and a 4,000mAh battery. It also features 2.5D glass protection up front and at the back as well, and comes with a 6.3-inch large display size. The Redmi Note 7 is the first smartphone to be launched after Xiaomi announced that Redmi would operate as an independent brand moving forward.  The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7  is priced at CNY 999 (roughly Rs. 10,300) for the 3GB RAM + 32GB storage options, CNY 1,199 (roughly Rs. 12,400) for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage option, and CNY 1,399 (roughly Rs. 14,500) for the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage option. Xiaomi unveils mi home projector lite

Xiaomi unveils Mi home Projector Lite Xiaomi has launched the Mi Home Projector Lite in China. It is priced at CNY2199 ($320) currently on the company's Mijia crowdfunding platform. It will later retail at CNY2499 ($364).  The Mi Home Projector Lite is a compact long-throw projector. It can project a 1080p image between 40 and 200 inches in size with a native aspect ratio of 1.2:1. The projector has a 500 ANSI LED lamp that has a life of 30,000 hours. It supports HDR10.  The projector also has a built-in speaker, along with Dolby Atmos and DTS support. It also has built-in Mi TV functionality along with voice control. It has HDMI, USB and aux inputs.  The projector will be available only in white and for now it's only on sale in China.
