Xiaomi MI Play is set to launch on December 24 Xiaomi Mi Play is coming soon. Considered to be a rebranded version of upcoming Redmi Note 7 Pro, Mi Play is set to debut in China on December 24. It is also going to be the first phone under Xiaomi’s new Play series. Ahead of the official launch, Xiaomi has already revealed some of the important features of the phone. Xiaomi Mi Play will feature a waterdrop notch on the front. Note that Xiaomi has implemented iPhone X-like boatshaped notches on its recent phones. Mi Play will be the first device from the company to have the tinier notch.  Unlike Redmi series, Mi Play does away with metallic unibody and features glass-like finish on the back. The back panel looks very similar to Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 and Honor’s recent budget phones with radiant rear. Xiaomi Mi Play also features dual-rear cameras and fingerprint sensor on the back. Lenovo Z5s with Snapdragon 710 SoC chipset Lenovo Z5s was launched in China on Tuesday, after many teasers. The smartphone's big highlights include the waterdrop-shaped display, triple rear camera setup, Snapdragon 710 SoC, 3,300mAh battery, and ZUI 10 operating system. The device also comes with Game Turbo technology for allowing intense gaming sessions without heating up the phone. The Lenovo Z5s comes in three colour options, and will go on sale on December 24 in the country. Alongside, the company also announced the arrival of a new Lenovo Z5 Pro variant powered by the latest Snapdragon 855 processor. Specification: As for hardware, the Lenovo Z5s runs on Android Oreo-based ZUI 10, and supports dual-SIM card slots. The smartphone sports a 6.3-inch (1080x2340 pixels) LTPS display with 92.6 percent screen-to-body ratio, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, and 450nits peak brightness. Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 has launched Finally the Asus Max Pro M2 has launched yesterday. The Asus ZenFone Max Pro M2 is with a 19:9 aspect ratio display, with a 6.26-inch full-HD+ screen. The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC and is available in three variants - 3GB RAM / 32GB Storage is priced at ₹12999, 4GB RAM / 64GB storage at ₹14,999, and 6GB RAM / 64GB storage at ₹16,999  It ships with stock Android 8.1 Oreo and just three pre-loaded apps - Facebook, Instagram, and Facebook Messenger. The smartphone is ships with a 5000mAh battery, similar to what was seen in the Max Pro M1. Honor View 20 with an in display camera The 2018 was the year of the display notch and 2019 is preparing to be the year of the display hole. Samsung recently made the galaxy A8s and now Honor is joining the ranks with their Honor View20. Honor claims their in-display hole is smaller than the other but there may be even more exciting features on the back of the phone. The View20 features a whopping 48MP camera on the back. The camera is powered by Sony’s IMX586 CMOS sensor, which was reaveled earlier this summer. The IMX586 is made primarily for low-light photography. Sony makes use of the 0.8 μm pixel size to merge 4 pixels into one for low-light shots. The result is a low-light photo with a higher resolution than you’d typically get. Sony’s IMX586 sensor is also great for zooming in on photos taken from a distance. Samsung A8s with an in screen pinhole camera   Samsung has announced its first phone with a pinhole camera. Dubbed the Samsung Galaxy A8S, it has a single-lens 24MP f/2.0 camera on the front, cut into the top left corner of the screen. That pinhole is 6.7mm wide and it's cut into a 6.4-inch 1080 x 2340 screen with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio.  Other specs of the Samsung Galaxy A8S include a Snapdragon 710 chipset, 6GB or 8GB of RAM, and a triple-lens rear camera, made up of a 24MP f/1.7 main lens, a 10MP f/2.4 telephoto one and a 5MP f/2.2 depth sensor. There's also 128GB of storage, a microSD card slot, a fingerprint scanner, a 3,400mAh battery which supports fast charging, and Android 8.1.

Poco F1 from now onwards ₹19,999

Poco F1 smartphone price slashes by ₹1000 Xiaomi's Poco F1 offers a great combination of  specifications in an aggressive price tag. Now, the company is making things even more tempting by giving the smartphone a permanent price cut in India. Xiaomi recently announced that it had sold over 700,000 units of Poco F1 globally in just three months. In celebrating this milestone, the Poco F1 has now received a Rs 1,000 permanent price slash. This price cut is applicable on all variants of the smartphone. With this, the base variant featuring 64GB storage and 6GB RAM will be available for ₹19,999. The other two variants 128GB+6GB RAM, and 256GB+8GB RAM will be available at ₹22,999 and ₹27,999 respectively. The smartphone will be available at this new price on Flipkart, mi.com, and Mi Home Stores.

Mi Mix 3 5G variant

Mi Mix 3 5G version with Snapdragon 855 showcased in China Xiaomi showcased its 5G variant of Mi Mix 3 smartphone at an event in China. Mi Mix 3 was launched in the country in October, though its 5G variant is expected to be commercially available early next year. Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 5G model is powered by the Snapdragon 855 processor, which is 5G-ready, while the non-5G variant has Snapdragon 845. Xiaomi demonstrated web surfing as well as live video streaming on 5G network on Mi Mix 3. Qualcomm officially unveiled   its flagship Snapdragon 855 earlier this month. The processor is a 7nm design chipset, which is the same fabrication process as the Apple 12 Bionic chipset and Huawei’s Kirin 980 processor. It will have 5G support thanks to the Snapdragon X50 modem, which can support a maximum download speed of up to 2Gbps .
